Yes! BUT--I think it looks cool, and probably much less $$ than a correct rifle--could be a fun shooter/hunter, albeit a bit heavy.

What a shame. First time the rifle falls over and dings the gas tube,or worse yet dislodges it the shooter will get a rude awaking!

Can't say if this is the first one I have seen. BUT I recall some TOKAREV rifles altered to .303 and sported out offered many years back

Oh woe.... this is where you really miss Springfield Sporters. I bought just about every spare part he had for my Ljungman.... including an extra NOS barrel and complete stick set for peanuts.
Frequently wrong, never in doubt.
