Scout Scope Suggestions?

Post by cigarband »

I want to put a Scout scope on my No.4 Mk2. Far enough forward so it doesn't block the charger rails. Suggestions for mount and scope would be appreciated. Thanks.

Not sure on the mount but you might want to look at "Intermediate eye relief shotgun scopes"?
Keep the power down around 4X or less & you can use the Bindon Aiming Concept.

I've had good luck with the Leatherwood/Hi-Lux 2-7x32mm Long Eye Relief Riflescope, using the Brenshok scope base, which fits over and retains use of the rear sight. Put one on a Swede m38 and one on a VZ-24. Both rifles so scoped have put meat on the table. So, there's my $0.02

I've used Leupold 1.5X and 2X rifle scopes on several different scout mounts. I would keep the power low. Not more than 2.5X.
Frequently wrong, never in doubt.
