Scarce

Post by One too many »

Hi all
I have looked a bit for a 96/11 for sale. They do seem hard to find in decent condition. I am really looking for antique, pre 1899 ones. I have not seen one at several gun shows. Online ones that I have seen are sold out.
Any tips on where I might run into one? I considered other
Models, but with the older ones chambered in non commercially available ammo, and the others not antiques, I am stuck wanting what I can’t have. Kind
Of like a good Congress or a winning lottery ticket.

Drop by empire arms, https://empirearms.com
They have some of the best surplus around. I checked and they did not have the rifle you are looking fof. But they have a list of wanted guns you can get on. If they get one in they woll call you.

I picked one up on GunBroker from mmbi imports, they we're very friendly, I'm sure you could get in touch with them and they'll keep an eye out for you.

Thank you Aaronbern,
I ended up buying one in excellent condition from Edelweiss Arms. They were good to work with, and direct shipped to me. That must have been what it was like pre 1964.
