Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

variations in Yugoslavia m57 holsters in pictures.

#1 Post by Charles Lipscomb » Tue Oct 09, 2018 3:50 pm

As my first post in Russian pistols I offer a photo essay on five types of Yugoslavia m57 m70a pistol holsters along with a few word of my own on the topic.
I know of a sixth and have pictures of it but I saved them at a different time. Long before the thought of doing this ever crossed my mind.
I will do a word description next to a similar holster. Hope to add the sixth at a later date.
These are not in official order of issue. I sorted them how I thought they were issued .
All comments are welcome.
And to the pictures.

Edit: due to difficulty in uploads i will post each holster one at a time.

Very impressive collection. Ive never seen the last one variation with shoulder belt like this. It was much better production. I need to find one.
During years of my collecting Ive collected some variations too.

The white one is for the MP and the black one we used to call "pancake". The last two are for the Beretta M34 and FN M10/22 Yugoslav production too. The green one and black are Slovenian products. The oldest M57 holster is with the cleaning rod attached in the front side similar to the Soviet T33 holster.

And here is the special M57 pistol holster from Special (SOF) Brigade MORiS. Slovenian Armed Forces from 1992-1993. It has silver button with lynx, the symbol of special brigade.
