Recent Local Finds

Picked theses up from a local shop and from the gun show this weekend, got all of them for what I would consider a good deal bought them from the shop as a package deal and individually from the show. hopefully I can get all the pictures to load.

NO EXPERT. Looks like the Krag scabbard is from the picket pin that was issued to the US Cavalry

You are correct that's the picket pin scabbard I think I read somewhere that it was Bannerman that combined them together like this in order to sell them better, not sure if that's accurate though.

NO EXPERT. The Krag bayonet may have the original grips. If I recall replacement grips were ground flush on both sides, but I might be misremembering
