Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Indy

Not custom. ( I am retired & poor and I have become a bit of a cheapskate )

The buttstock is surplus Israeli Heavy Barrel beech wood. Found the beech PG from RTG parts and the handguards were from a guy at Falfiles.
I used leather dye to get a darker color and match the parts as best I could. Your not supposed to stain beech dark and it has some "splothy" patches, but
I am happy. I guess I am just old school and like the steel & wood.

the wood stock set is what drove me to pick up a Australian L1A1 parts kit, buy a inch receiver and had it built. live is too short to have ugly plastic on a nice battle rifle. :)

Indy

Thank you Sir! A youngster like you may become more frugal when you get older. LOL

Ghoulardi,

That is some pretty wood! What type of wood is that? Walnut?
