Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

A friend in need,is a friend indeed...

#1 Post by Rapidrob » Sat Jul 14, 2018 6:00 pm

A good friend of mine and a member here, asked me to help him make room in his storage shed. I did, and he told me he had some old wheel weights I could have if I wanted them.
I loaded up 500 pounds of them not wanting to overload my car with about the same to box up left still sitting in the back of his shed. I'll have to return with more empty boxes to get the remainder wheel weights.
With my wife Elaine shooting a 100 rounds of cast bullets a week, I'll be casting up a lot of bullets for the both of us.The lead will come in handy.

I cast up 500 bullets yesterday and there was not one zinc weight in the bunch. All of the weights were in boxed of 5 pounds with date codes of 1966,some were brand new still.
With my home built electronic melting pot the melt flowed very well at 680 degrees F. Got to love wheel weights.
