Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.
My m/41B
My m/41B
Wanted to show off my m/41B. Rifle made in 1918, Ajack 4X scope made in Berlin in 1942. Reworked by the Swedes in 1955. Got the can too, numbered to the rifle. Disk reads at 6.50 to bore condition with no arrow pointing to the bore erosion so it's like new. She's been good to 700 yards so far. Just bought an older m/41 a couple of hours ago, Pics when she comes home.

Beautiful rifle--wish I had gotten one back in the day--thought they were neat, but was not into milsurps at the time.
Now I want to try the CMP sniper match--have a M96, and may understand it would be legal with an older Weaver K4.

It is legal, matter of fact some of us that shoot in vintage sniper matches think it's an advantage. Why it's legal I just don't know.

Beautiful rifle. I would love to have one.
They are very scarce in Canada.
Please post some targets at various ranges if you have any pictures.

Re: My m/41B
Here's where we shoot in vintage sniper matches, Henry County Gun Club in Paris TN, match every third Saturday of the month. I usually place in the middle somewhere of between 10 to 18 shooters. Lots of Swedes, a 1903a1, a ZFK55, a few No. 4 Mk.1 (T)s and a couple of Mosins. The winner is often a friend shooting an m/41B with a Weaver on it. This guy is one hell of a shot, he hits targets at 600 with my FSR m96s. I cant even see the targets through irons. Kind of hard to post pics of steel targets but if you blow up the picture you might see an 8" square at the 600 yard line. Just over the big number 5. On a still day the Swede hits it most of the time if I'm doing my part. Next time I'm up there I'm picking up a really nice m/41 with an AGA42 on it, all matching. One of the members agreed to sell it to me, he has 7 or 8 others. Pics when I get it, it won't outshoot my B though, the Ajack is just a far better scope. It is just a beautiful sniper rifle and after a bunch of nagging he agreed to sell it.

Re: My m/41B
Spectacular photos sheepdawg!
Re: My m/41B
Beautiful rifle!
I'm always on the prowl for an M41B.
That being said, I'm also thinking of a Faux M41B with a previously D&T'd M96 and a repro scope mount/Weaver K4. Would love to shoot in the CMP vintage sniper match.
Nice range, dawg...where is that?

Re: My m/41B
Very nice rifle and range

Re: My m/41B
Just north of Paris, Tennessee. One of my buddies up there thinks there is at least 20 m/41s of one type or another with in 30 miles of the range. It's 140 miles away from me so I don't shoot every month. Nice place, cookout before the shoot to make it tough on me. I always seem to be the oldest, biggest, fattest, shooter in the bunch.
My rig on the mat.

Here's my buddy Andy, the cook, shooting something real nice. Andy's a fine shot, shows up with something different every time.

Starting to see a few familiar names.

140 miles! wow!
I live 30 minutes from two ranges. But they aren't anything like yours.
Nice shooting!
Now I want a Swedish Sniper more than ever!
I do have a Russian PU sniper that's all original. It's a very accurate rifle. At 100m I have put all five in one hole a few times.
I have only taken it out to 300m so far. Roughly a 5" group at 300m At 100m I can count on less than 1".
It's an awesome rifle. But not as nice as a M/41.
It feels very crude compared to my M96 or M38. However it gets the job done and outshoots any of my swedes.
In a moment of weakness and desperation I bought a CG63 a couple nights ago. Haven't taken it to the range yet.
I recently saw two Swedish M/41's for sale, but they were missing the scope and scope mount. By the time I found those I might as well keep saving and hope to find a complete M/41. I know it's going to cost a lot if I can even find one!
You guys are very fortunate in the US compared to us in Canada. I wish we could buy from you guys.

Here's the new addition, 1912 receiver AGA42 scope crystal clear. Check out the sniper unit disk.

Re: My m/41B
Yep... picked up one of those back when they were "cheap" for $900!
