Prof, Thanks for the heads up on your continued work on this project rifle! I’d say you’ve gotten the most anyone could expect out of it and harvested a nice hog to boot! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and the little Mrs!

When you consider these rifles were originally chambered for 7x57, then armory re-bored, rifled and chambered to .30-06, it is miraculous that they shoot as good as they do. A 1.25 in group at 100 yds is plenty good to have a 400 yd hunting rifle.
