Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

nroberth;
Very nice rifle!!
My krag is a Danish model and is sporterized.
I, have to say, I, sure would like to have one like yours, a U S Military model
for my collection.
Again very nice Rifle

Very nice rifle. I own a full 1898 made in 1901 also, a cut down 1898 sporter that shoots as good as my full rifle.

Was that from Hampels?
Re: My U.S. Krag
I have purchased several rifles from Hampel's in Traverse City, but the Krag came through Gun Broker in 2012.

Re: My U.S. Krag
Nice rifle. Wondered if it came from Hampels as I saw 3 or 4 nice ones there last spring.
Re: My U.S. Krag
Nice rifle! How's it shoot?
Re: My U.S. Krag
It shoots okay but it's not a tack driver. Like most Krags it works better with round nose bullets. Spitzers just don't work for some reason.

Re: My U.S. Krag
How is this barrel?
A nice Krag drill rifle. Perfect for shooting tacks, like a Krag shotgun
And it came with the original sling. I guess you got to tell the Legion they should clean a rifle after firing blanks
Not bad for a $200 Krag
think dog....

To old to fight and to old to run, a Jar head will just shoot and be done with you.

Re: My U.S. Krag
It might shoot better than you think. Get some moderate 220gr loads and try it out.
Arguing with someone who denounces reason is like administering medicine to a corpse.
