Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Was a member of the original forums, still have the 2 CD's of the manuals and videos that was available for purchase way-back-when.

My C&R had expired years ago but the new one is fresh and ready to go, just brought home a 91/30 last night and yes...it is smeared in cosmoline.

I'll start the wiping down process this weekend, any suggestions on effective grease removal while trying to maintain the integrity of the existing stock finish would be greatly appreciated. I have plenty of mineral spirits, denatured alcohol and kerosene for the metal parts.
