Stolen Bulgarian Makarov Returned 10 Years later

Post by wpflgun »

I had two handguns stolen from my home Thanksgiving weekend, 2005. Got notified in 2015 that one, the Bulgarian Mak, had been retrieved during an arrest for a non-gun related crime. It took another year before I was able to take possession of it. It was in pretty good shape, a little surface rust from storage, finish had been very good.

The genius who was caught with it was carrying it loaded with .380 hollow points, cops had test fired one of the rounds in it, which expanded to chamber size, still apparently fired. I checked the barrel, looked good, and it functions properly. Still shoots very well.
