WANTED: Norwegian Krag Books

Post by SafetyOff »

Hey All,

I'm curious if anyone knows about any printed publications or books about Norwegian Krags. There is tons of stuff out there on US .30-40s (for obvious reasons) but finding info about Norwegian variants/history if a tough prospect. I'm a huge 6.5x55 and would love to know more about the Norwegian Krags. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanx.

Looks like a trip to Norway.
Did you see or know of this; https://web.archive.org/web/20050205041 ... D2a10b.htm
Firearm of the month 2001

Hanevik, Karl Egil (1998). Norske Militærgeværer etter 1867. Hanevik Våpen.

No English language books on the Norwegian Krag–Jorgensen as primary references that I know about. Sort of like finding information on The Mosin --all the good references are in a different language.

Haha! Thanks for the lead 72 usmc! As of now looks like I'll need to put that trip on hold... Or maybe write myself a niche book.
