Turkish M03/38 Short Rifle with Folding Bayonet

Post by Kevinofborg »

Re-post of my 5/19/2014 post

I was really happy to have been able to get this guy. I had only see the one pictured Ball's Mauser Military Rifles of the World. This one has a great bore and very nice metal and wood. It is the nicest of the two other Turk short rifles I have. It has a nice mix of German and Turkish markings.

Wow, not only a rare rifle... But knock down beautiful to boot.. Does anyone know how many of these exist in the world.??? And were they made for special units or purpose??

And please I hate asking this, because I hate talking money on a great post.. But If I was to see such a thing in a store, what would be a good price for one...??
