Post by Hammerdown »

With the short barrel shotguns out now by Mossberg and Remington that are pump action is there anyone putting out a semi-auto version of one?

don't know the availability or the price (although I bet it's going to be very expensive), FIMI GROUP imported MOLOT made VEPR 12 SBS

K-Var is carrying them

http://www.k-var.com/vepr-12-shotgun-sb ... d-magazine

BENELLI also has a SBS semi shotgun

MOLOT and BENELLI are the only ones I I know of that is making semi-auto SBS shotguns. no American companies that I know of is making them

what I did was to buy a SAIGA 12, years and years ago when they were cheap, around 300 bucks, converted it to pistol grip configuration, then popped the 200 dollar tax and in less then 5 minutes cut the barrel down to 13 inches.

A correction of sorts.

They are not short barreled shotguns. The BATFE has determined that they are a firearm but not a firearm that falls under the NFA!

My 20 gauge Mossberg Shockwave cost $380 OTD

I was looking at the non-NFA class 3 versions that are out now like the Remington 870 Tac 14 and Mossberg 590 Shockwave. Just wanted to know if a semi-auto version was in the works? I don't want to buy one of these and a semi-auto comes out a few months later.

I have not read or even heard rumors of a semi-auto version coming out.
