Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Somewhere I read "Nothing goes wrong with a Nagant revolver that you can't fix with a hammer".
I don't advocate that kind of maintenance, but Russian hardware is usually robust and reliable.
