Can I just put your wax over say Howard's Feed and Wax? Or should I rub down the stock with denatured alchohol or something? Thanks. Eric

I believe I answered this offline for Eric, but you should be able to put my mix over other waxes although for best performance of the BLO and the Beeswax in my mix, I think I would recommend removing as much as possible of the other wax. Howards is a carnuba based wax, much like car wax, it may be difficult for the BLO to absorb through that.
Thanks, Tom

Intrestingly enough I've seen research about this on woodworking boards. The short answer is no, you can't put anything over wax, even more wax. Wax is one of the slipperest substances known to man, even wax doesn't stick to wax.
