Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

AR15 A2

#1 Post by ffuries » Sat Jul 01, 2017 7:46 pm

Went to the Dothan Alabama gun-show today, not much in the milsurps department. Saw one MN M91-30, a couple SKS's, and a few Garand's, and about 5 South American Mauser's, and a Type 99 Arisaka. So as I am looking for non sportered wood and steel rifles, my wife found this. Asks me isn't this what you are wanting to get at some point, told her yes but I wasn't looking for one right now. Then saw that the price wasn't too bad, $500.00, and I had the sling and the bayonet already. Just like the ones I carried in the USAF before I retired in 2008.

So she says get it, join the plastic world, LOL!

Our son (Former Marine) and his wife showed up 10 minutes later, we got out of the house and on the road before they woke up.....He picked up a M4 styled rifle from the same vender. Vender saw the last name, made mention he just sold one to someone with the same name, then saw the address, and stated ah related I see, they're staying with us until they find a place.

Bushmaster AR15 A2 with the HBAR.

I've had an A2 in the family for several years. I like the green furniture.

Plan on taking it out Thursday along with a pile of milsurps to the range. The milsurps need to belch fire, and the AR needs to be put through the paces and probably sighted in.

AR prices are way down, I've bought two AR's in the last three weeks. It's hard to stay away when they are cutting deep on the prices.
