Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

A few 6 mil M1s from CMP purchased years ago. The last offering was 1200.00 for a service grade , these were 675.00 service grades.

Nice pic. I never get tired of seeing Garands. I almost ordered a 6 mil during the last offering. Some of the rifles were amazing, others were so-so.

Nice, practice away! Shooting pictures, shooting the guns, I like practicing both. I do like one more than the other though.

It doesn't seem that long ago, but it may be that I'm getting old, that the correct grade from the CMP was about $1000.

I always thought there had to be a few consecutive numbers as many were pretty close. There were several with in 20 or so to others on cmp forum.

I checked mine, one (6095131) slices the middle of yours. The other is 6088xxx.

...trying to get used to the 'new' version of this forum since the old one went 'phhhtttt' ....cant seem to get a decent super reduced size avatar posted that used to work on the old board on my old profile... but here is my Garand picked up in person at CMP North an SA service grade March 42 receiver with a June '53 barrel MW and TE 1.5
