Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

it had been a few years since i took out this one. noticed the adjustment caps(?) are missing.
bet it was me.
shot a few clips the rifle ran fine.

gunna try to get replacements caps, then back in the back of the safe it goes.

Very nice. I love my M1s. I have shot it enough to know what i can do with it.
But as i am limited on rounds here at the house and what i could reasonably expect to find outside i would grab my norinco ak folder.
More ammo here. A touch handier from my wheelchair.
But truly mobile with plenty of ammo, i wouldn't fear much around me out to 100 yds. ( the only distance i have experience with. )

I keep a "grab and run to the barricades kit" like that in the extremely faint possibility things get really bad. Here in CT the Garand is the most effective thing we can own (for a little while till they ban it) so I have all the WWII/Korea era gear to go with it.
