No just saw it on a website.
Just had a blonde moment.
Looked at my Mossberg and of course its part of the trigger assembly

The guns "usually" go back together the way they came apart. (Usually)

This is the rifle in question.

Part of the second shipment to England in 1941 as part of the
lend lease programme, it has the US Army property stampings
on the receiver and barrel.
On the left side of the barrel just under the rear sight is the BNP
stamps.

This particular example is missing the sling and detachable
sling swivels, the rear peep sight, dust cover and the safety
indicator buttons at the rear of receiver.

The previous owner decided that the original finish was no
longer desirable so they slapped on some varnish.
I assume this is when some of the parts may have walked.

I'm in the process of making this particular firearm a little
more presentable with the help of some distinguished members
of this forum.

There was a crack above the wrist which needed repair.
Used a wooden dowel to reinforce the repair internally

Damn fine looking rifle.. have you shot it yet??

Did the Military contract rifles have the door in the butt stock for the extra magazine??? I have a civilian version and that butt stock magazine was the whole reason I purchased it..

Not alot of extra info on this page but they are a wonderful website for trainers
