I wonder how much the Government paid for them 10 years earlier?

Also according to my trusty inflation Calculator, that rifle would cost about 220 dollars today.. Which is about the price
of a lot of base line 22 rifles today.

I have seen the non military ones at shows in the 200 - 300 range

Got mine in an auction about 4 years ago at like 230 or so..

A few Gunbrokers

https://www.gunbroker.com/item/789565050

US Property in the 300 range

https://www.gunbroker.com/item/786867832

You know deep down that is a pretty reasonable price when you think what some modern 22s go for..

I saw an actual barrel for a 42M marked US Property for sale on GB. If only 42M's were more common. No bolt with the barreled action though.

Best Regards,

Mark

Monday Night indoor Shoot with the Mossberg 42M @ 50mtrs

Seems to like the higher velocity .22lr over 1250fps.
anything less it behaves like a shot gun.

Little scattered, need a little more practice

I wonder if someone shot it in matches and put a ‘dimple’ in the stock grip ‘cap’ area everytime they did?
