Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Legendary Arms Mag is also out

#1 Post by 72 usmc » Fri Dec 01, 2017 11:36 am

Not as good gun wise on technical/reloading/shooting aspects as featured in the new issue of SURPLUS Vintage & Classic Firearms, special edition 2018 that I just recently posted ( http://www.surplusrifleforum.com/viewto ... =87&t=1565 ), this issue is called Legendary Arms: Collectibles & Military Surplus and is published twice a year by the editors of World of Firepower- Engaged Media Company. Their new issue is out on the racks. It is the Winter 2017/Spring 2018 issue which is modestly priced at $9.99. This magazine is a little different because its emphasis is more upon historical articles and military surplus items people collect. It is an interesting magazine because it combines some nice historical information on a few firearms with a mix of historical and collector information. For example this issue has an interesting feature on a B26 pilot, collecting autographs from WW II pilots and historical military figures, as well as the info. on some specific rifles like the 1886 Lebel, Going to smokeless cartridges, and the Luger. All of these firearm related features are more geared to historical features and facts, not so much shooting and reloading for them. An interesting magazine that I always pick up. Check out both magazines.

The past Summer fall 2017 issue of Legendary Arms is reviewed here: http://www.surplusrifleforum.com/viewto ... =87&t=1047

For some pure reading pleasure and classic stuff you will be lucky to find any of these classic ancient magazines , old timers will remember SURPLUS FIREARMS MAGAZINE, one of the best on collecting surplus firearms; but all so hard to find
