Got this at the last military show. Guy had a nice collection of Italian stuff for sale and this was the only thing I could afford. Been looking for one for a while and I was in the right place at the right time. The only thing bad about it is that the aluminum guide is cracked and broken but it doesn't hurt it much.

Very nice. What did that run you? I can't seem to find them for less than $200 around here, and usually closer to $300.

Picked this one up for $125. So I walked away smiling.

Wow. Good job!

I have been looking for one for my carcano M38 short rifle and apparently they are rare as hens teeth!

Sure they show a little wear...(the Italians probably used them for cooking more than fighting...) :shifty:

Congrats on your great buy and send it to me when you get tired of it!

Interesting, I hadn't seen on before, but then saw one yesterday at a military fair for $250 - Military Historical arms and antiques, AZ (818) 846 4509.

I wouldn't have looked twice at it, if I hadn't read this thread. It's not for me personally, but someone here might like it.

Good find for $125,

Pit.
