So this is what my mug looks like.

I was at a local shop a week back and found a signed German Regimental beer mug/stein. It is an early blown in the mold, heavy, clear glass with bits of slag in the glass as well as air bubble trails, all hall marks of a late 1870-1900 glass. The pewter lid is signed Otto Martin , 5th Squadron, Royal Saxon, Carabinier Regiment, 1890-93. Written in German of course! The pewter lid has a spiked helmet and the front of the glass has an image of Crown Prince Albert of Saxony. This is a 0.5 L mug. And so much original. :dance:
