Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

I've got some 105mm and 40mm shells from Bosnia operations, and from Enduring Freedom. One of the 105s is signed by one of the first USAF female AC-130 Gunship pilots to fly in combat.

She had an NVG counterweight issue her unit wouldn't fix, she asked around and was told to hit me up to devise a fix for her. Next mission she flew, she was ecstatic with the fix and left the autographed shell that was also a confirmed "Kill Shell" for me as a thank you.

WOW 105 -- That would be something to keep around as a souvenir – could you post a picture of it?

Here's some old pictures of them. You can just see her autograph on the righthand 105 flanked by a 50 cal and 20mm. You can see the various 40mm, some 20mm, and a small belt of 7.62 and one 50 cal round (the 7.62 and 50 cal was all the ammo that was left on a MH-53J Pavelow after a rescue mission during Desert Storm).

The display is something my wife and kids put together some years back to display the souvenirs from my travels. In one picture you can see a piece of the Berlin Wall, there is also a piece of marble from one of Saddam Hussein's palaces. Tobasco Sauce bottle from the MRE'S (Desert Storm era bottle and still full). Shell casings from Desert Storm, Bosnia, Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom operations. Challenge coin collection etc etc.......

I'll have to get some better pictures later.

Last picture. Don't know why it's only allowing the attachment of one picture per post.

That sure is one impressive souvenir display...heck, I have lost track of my Air Force discharge certificate. I was in a squadron with B-17’s and C-47’s. The B-17’s had their guns removed. Yes, your wife and daughters sure did a good job – tell them so for me.

The rest of the living room has a shelf all around it with helmets and hats displayed, plus military plaques and pictures on the walls.
