Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Wz 48 polish trainer import ?

#1 Post by 72 usmc » Sun Nov 04, 2018 9:11 am

Does any one know or have information about the Mosin, Polish, .22 trainer WZ 48. I have one that has no import marks. I remember that AIM or SOG had these rifles about 8-10 years ago around $179-200 bucks. Mine has no import marks and came from an estate collection generally purchased between 1955-1970. Is it odd that it is lacking an import stamp? There is no evidence of its removal, it came into the US lacking the import stamp.
My questions is do these generally have import marks? Does anyone have one and does it have can import stamp anywhere on the rifle?

An import marked specimen on the barrel, but importer is unknown?

I wonder if this is the ones marked with the "Armamenius Inc LW 22LR Poland" import mark on the barrel??

Forget the" attachment" photo of mosin sight, it will not delete wrong photo. I have yet to discover how to remove an incorrect photo. :violin:

Here is a Williams shooters supply, Quincy, Ill. import mark found on the receiver of some Wz 48s . Mine lacks these marks.

Here is an "INTRAC KNOX TN ARMS" import mark on a WZ 48 barrel. It seems most are import marked, few if any are missing import marks. Click on photo it enlarges to see the mark. It seems back in 2011 -2013 just about everyone was trying to sell these around $160-200. Hard to believe that they are hardly seen at gun shows and are pushing $400.
