Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

I would love to buy a M1938 Mortar for only $20.
As the ad says, it "has many practical uses". I can think of 4 already 8-) .

Been there as a young teenager. Not as good as Interarmco's collection ( just up the street) but a neat place to visit. There were so many surplus firearms small and large to buy that many had little value other than a lamp or even a bar stool.

Horrible!

   That is how you get rid of firearms--- just make a lamp out of a bring back K98k or maybe a M1. Or how about all those nasty shotguns you see at shows.... https://ccs.infospace.com/ClickHandler. ... om_pageid=

Or you can use a Umerax MP40 BB gun, or maybe a reproduction stick grenade...

Of course it is always best to use a surplus rifle, remember those M95 table lamps of the 1960s. You got to love those late 1950s historic gun lamps. Perfect for the den. :violin: :violin:
I wonder if you need a background check for a vintage rifle lamp from some antique fair or shop
Drop one off at a Goodwill box and see the hell it will raise :angry-cussingblack:

Now for the guy with a great job and a lack of time, how about a Flos $4000 rifle lounge lamp.

Looks like it's cheeper for one to cut up a Mauser, that is if you have the time. And my wife was wondering what to do with my used, dirty, surplus rifles when I am dead...

so start a cutting and wiring... https://www.ar15.com/forums/general/I_w ... 5-1529153/
To old to fight and to old to run, a Jar head will just shoot and be done with you.

Well Cabelas gun stores stated to offer the non weathered version and had them at $200 in the BB gun section, on the other hand, Pyramid Air has both the better looking weathered version and the non weathered version, see
https://www.pyramydair.com/s/m/Weathere ... Strap/4369; and likewise, Air Gun Depot also has both versions: https://www.airgundepot.com/umarex-lege ... strap.html. I always seem to get better sales & deals at Air Gun Depot. The weathered version is nice as a looker, but as an actual BB gun the Umerax is plagued with magazine problems that cause jams. A looker rather than a shooter. A LAMP made from one that is weathered and has the sling would look nice, but be an expensive adventure for the gun & helmet. About 325-350 i'd say. Umerax makes some nice reproduction/replica BB and pellet guns. They are made in Taiwan. Better Replicas are also made in Japan. Also note that the original small markings and serial numbers found on a real MP 40 are not reproduced like seen on their Luger. However, the large white markings generally found on pellet and BB replicas are held to a minimum on this BB gun. It is heavy and nice. It would be a fine lamp, an eye catcher with a different bottom. Say a nice piece of oak or walnut.

Reproduction German helmets can be found at WW II Gear see https://www.ww2gear.com/default.aspx, IMA see: https://www.ima-usa.com/collections/ger ... s#listpage and many other places depending on the quality of the helmet you need to drill for attachment.

Or make a small lamp from a Webley, a nice replica in pellet and BB that shoots fine:

Lamps made from military stuff and Industrial looking lamps made from pipes and gauges, dials, facets, are the big rage at present with the younger male crowd. Junk like this, 40 bucks of parts, for $$$$

For me it would be an actual trench art lamp or a rifle Lamp. Here is my Snead, Morgan explosion historic WW I lamp:

So I wonder how many actually have a rifle/lamp made out of an old surplus rifle from the 1950s to show us? I have seen a Arisaka and Carcano rifles use to make a round table lamps. Back in the day both Italian & Japanese rifles were junk. In the 1960s, a girlfriends dad had a floor lamp made from an M95 Mannlicher. I have some trench art lamps, but my better side will not allow a rifle lamp or Akro standing ash tray in the house. She says when I am dead the first thing she throws out will be my Snead Morgan lamp and ash trays. :shhh: :shhh:
