Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

RTFI!

#1 Post by Tommy Atkins » Sun Sep 02, 2018 4:13 pm

Yup read 'em good.
I found this amusing so I'm sharing.
I've been using this lump (real) charcoal for a long time but until today I never RTI, much less RTFI'd the bag.
:violin:
Now this may be a great tip down where these things trundle across the wide open spaces, but here in Western MD they're kinda rare.
Do they blow through DFW, Houston & so on?

"Tumbleweeds" are a brand name. They are shavings from a wood and coiled together. They work very well.
While I have the real thing in my back yard,There are darn near explosive if put to flame.

Ha, did not know that - but Yes, the real things do burn like crazy!

I thought they were telling people to find and use a real one.

Well I'll be!
Ersatz tumbleweed! Whoda thunk it!
I was thinking they were kinda big, as the only ones I've ever seen were in old westerns. Those were bigger than a bowling ball!

From the video it would seem the real tumbleweeds burn pretty fast and with an intense heat
