Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Working afloat. On board the "Cunard Princess" somewhere in the Caribbean, it would depend on the day of the week where I was.
OK I checked it was a Sunday so we were at sea running from Port Everglades to Nassau (Bahamas) yes in the Bermuda Triangle. we never left the Bermuda Triangle (which may explain many things)

I was 7. Unfortunately I really don't remember that particular day/evening. Being in Philadelphia though I do remember all of the fire hydrants being painted red, white and blue for the Bicentennial.

We were I'm Seminle Florida, we went to one of the fireworks shows.
But the best one ever was in 1977. We had moved up to Washington D.C. so my mom's boyfriend could take a job as a caretaker in a Jewish cemetery. His buddy got him the job. As he was caretaker of the Jewish cemetery next door he got us all invited to Arlington National cemetery.
They had barbeque and a small trailer full on assorted sodas.
The best views of the fireworks I think I ever saw. And being into history made it even more special.
Afterwards they let us kids collect the small U.S. flags mounted on sticks and strapped to the surrounding fence. We must of had fifty. We have them away to friends that lived near us over the next few weeks. I still have a small 5x7 (?) One in my nightstand.

Ft Sill, Oklahoma. Fire Direction Specialist school. I think we got a pass, went up to Lake Elmer Thomas and consumed 3.2 beer and hot dogs.
