Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

I have been hunting for 30 years started when I was 15 and even at 15 I would not have taken that shot when you see orange in front of you. I guess luck favors the foolish.

THIS is why I don't hunt anymore here.
I have no moral, religious, or ethical grounds for not doing so, but I refuse to wear a flashing LED hat saying:
"HUMAN
(Do Not Shewt)
"

'cus, based on prior experience they will anyway.

Holy shit batman.......If I done something as stupid as that when my dad was teaching me shooting and hunting, he would have taken the gun from me and busted it over my ass. He wouldn't have stopped until he bent the barrel over my well beaten ass.

This crap scares me to no end.............

Many, many years a go, far far away in the Welsh mountains I was (tent) camping in the Brecon Beacons. One morning I got up for my morning "used beer run", I was merrily doing my thing when I suddenly found myself laying on the grass having, for lack of a better term a piss up.
It took a few seconds to realize why. I'd been hit with a 12 gauge shotgun shot load.
Fortunately the briar hedge there is about 300 years old & very dense & the shot was small so I only picked up 3 punctures.
My friend did exactly that, grabbed the SBS 12 gauge & smashed the stock over a rock. He swung it by the muzzle. One barrel was still loaded. Luckily I was the only one hurt.
It was the farmer's son, he was "shooting sparrows" WITH A 12-GAUGE!
We limped to the farmhouse & the farmer was absolutely horrified because the kid had taken it (without permission) from its usual roost behind the front door for predator control. He got his butt whupped right there & then.
I still have one pellet somewhere inside my left knee joint.

Considering it was about 45 yards very lucky. Those tangled old vines save my bacon. Pure dumb luck saved Steve's.
