I read Horse Soldiers a year or so ago and knew it would make a great film. 12 Strong did not disappoint. Interestingly enough, the book's author lives in Traverse City, Michigan: not all that far from my own hometown. I highly recommend both the novel and the film.

Saw the movie yesterday. GOOD show. Hollywood took some liberties, though. They either didn't do some things the way they were depicted in the film or, if they did, none of them survived.

Still a great story about them working with Afgan militias. That part was pretty believable.
