Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Movie - Siege of Jadotville

#1 Post by DaleH » Mon Oct 02, 2017 12:46 pm

Amazing true story of ~180 Irish troops of a UN "peace" keeping force that finds themselves outnumbered, surrounded and attacked by indingeniuous forces led by mercenaries. As usual, the bad guys are the behind-the-scene politics and politicians.

POLITICS - Derived from the Greek words of 'poly' - to signify many, and 'ticks' - a blood sucking and univited parasitic individual or group ...

But the movie was very well done! Made me take my smellie back out to the range!

I just watched this movie last night on Netflix. Good movie. I never heard of it before in part because I was in about 1st grade when this happened. Tonight, I hope to watch Northern Limit Line as recommended by Rapidrob.

One I'll recommend on Netflix is "Our World War". It's a 3 part series about WWI.
