Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Italian RSI soldato with Beretta MAB

#1 Post by M67 » Mon May 07, 2018 12:15 pm

I put together all parts of uniform and accesories for this RSI (Republica Sociale Italiana )soldier.
He wars rare wind jacket M40, common in bersaglieri units. All equipment I found very close to my home, except MAB M38A.
I found this photo of RSI NCO on the net with similar equipment. Later I also add loading device for 9 mm magazines.

Sweet display, I really love the period photo showing the same style equipment in actual use. It adds validity to the display.

Awesome job on the display.

Thanks, I am very happy that you liked.
I saw two double green leather pouch for two mags. Very popular was "samurai" canvas vest. This vest held 5 Beretta M38 magazines on the front and 7 on the back along with 6 grenades in the pouches.Italian WW2 Samurai Magazine Vest was very smart design!
