Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Postal match question.

Postal match question.

#1 Post by jaytex1969 » Sun Jun 04, 2017 3:02 am

Just as something a little different, how many would be interested in an air rifle based match?

Not quite our focus here, but it may give participation opportunity to some who don't get to the range much or have developed recoil related issues.

If interested, what type of parameters would you like to see?

Open floor.

Thanks.
Jay

Sure why not.
But I think it depends upon the air rifle used.
I have seen some kids at the local club shooting air rifles that cost more then a new one ton diesel pickup truck.

Me, I got a couple old Chinese trainers. One with Mosin (like) sights and one with AK (like) sights.
And the old powerline 880.
Aint nothing you cant fix with five gallons of diesel and a match.

Well, all I have is a refurbed Gamo break action I spent a whole $50 at Cabela's.

I know equipment can vary. I am envisioning an informal "run what you brung" type of affair.

Top prize would be a jar of propellant (air)

Sure, I think that's a great idea since summer has already hit the SW and it's 108 today. I would love to break out the old Crosman and Daisy firepower and see if they still work. We probably would only need to state the type (rifle/pistol), the distance, and iron sights or not.

So, can I just run with it, or is there a process to adhere to?
