I recently bought 200 30-06 from an estate sale.
All most all are military cases with the normal head stamps.
But 5 have me baffled. They are only marked .30 G.1906.
All 5 are hollow points and looks to have a lacquer finish.

Thirty Government 1906.
This was used because there were still rifles in .30-03, and .30G was the then new .30-06

Thanks. But my question was that there was no manufacturers head stamp.
