Ammo is getting scarce.................

#1 Post by BCR#1 » Tue Mar 17, 2020 3:45 pm

Try to find bulk 5.56 anywhere besides ctd, the biggest rip-offs in the industry. Just like 2013, people are not prepared during a crisis and the proffiteers are preying on the weak.

let me see, people had longer then 4 years to buy ammo/guns when the gun/ammo market was basically dead in the water, and it was a buyers market shopping for the best price and to stack it deep.

this isn't he first time that panic buy has happened, it's been going on for as long as I was collecting guns which started 25 years ago. if people didn't learned to buy it "cheap and stack it deep" after the first one they went through, then they deserve to pay the "stupid tax" if they "need" now. I have no sympathy for them

they can cry a river saying it's "price gouging ba$tards," it's not fair etc... on these gunboard………….and i'll just :violin:
COOL IT WITH THE BOOM-BOOMS!! OVA-DAY!!

I agree with Ghoulardi should have bought when it was cheaper.

I received my order from Aim today with no problems. Did I finally time things right?

Anyone in their right mind has at least 500 rounds for each of the calibers they shoot, most have into the thousands as a stash. It is another form of currency or trade items, as good as cash

You ask why, because there are fools like this:
Executive order in Champaign Ill could include banning sale of firearms, ammunition and alcohol.

I am ok in ammo. But could always use more.
I like to check out prices.
I went over to my favorite site sgammo.com and was surprised despite reading about the surge in sales only to see they'd shut down new orders for at least a week. You can't even get into their site to see what they had,.
I don't do the panic buy thing.

The cheapest price for 5.56 or .223 right now I have found is just about $400 per thousand. One place is selling Wolf steel case for $450 a case plus shipping. Good thing I reload.

Looks like you did. Aims shows no 223 in stock today.
