Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

IMR4895 is really too fast for you to get the max MV, but it will do OK. If your a short range shooter,100-200 yards you'll do fine with this load.
Bullet Prvi Partizan FMJBT
Bullet Weight 208 grs
Powder IMR 4895
Powder Weight 48.0 grs
Primer Win LR
Brass Make Prvi Partizan
Barrel Length 46.5" (inches)
C.O.L 2.990" (inches)
Velocity 2250
Start at 45 grains and work up.

I use H4895 in my 8x56r loads. With 208 grain bullets, 42.6 grains shoots well and chrono'd at 2249 fps from my long M95, For comparison, the 208 grain factory FMJ PRVI load was 2318 fps from the same rifle.

Thank you very much! Exactly what I was looking for!

I did 3 groups of 5 rounds, 42, 44, 46gr. If I see pressure signs or reduced accuracy after 44, think I'll pull the 46 and reuse the powder.

RapidRob: Not to hijack the thread (maybe start a new one?) . . . in your experience, what are the best powders for the 8x56R using 205-208 grain jacketed bullets?

Thanks!
