Does anyone make a Walther P1/P38 adjustable rear sight? I cannot locate one with a basic internet search and I have a customer that wants to buy one of the P1's we have in stock, but only if he can replace the rear sight with an adjustable one

For what its worth, I've never seen one.

Although, P.38 rear sights with offset notches to correct windage were at one time offered as spare parts (they were marker 'R' and 'L'); I have no idea if they can still be obtained. Very minor corrections can be made by drifting the front sight in its dovetail. Elevation changes were made by substituting a front sight of different height, though surplus pistols often are seen with the sight filed down to raise the POI. Walther did not install a rear sight click-adjustable for windage on a service pistol until the P5, but that sight is not adaptable to the P.38 or P.4. In any event, elevation continued to be non-adjustable except by front sight substitution; filing was no longer a satisfactory expedient because the front sight had a white dot.
