Hi All,

I have an opportunity to purchase a byf 44 in 95% condition, all numbers matching with 2 WWII mags. Asking price is $475.
It has a neatly inscribed poem on the right side of the frame. No real military significance of poem. Might have had a personal or sentimental purpose of the inscription. I don't have any pics and would like to buy it. It is not import marked or a Russian Capture. Looks like original condition. I see these going for around $600-$700 in original condition.
My question is whether it is still a good buy even though it has the inscription?? Oh, and the bore looks good too.
