I have a "new to me" hi-power. I has a SN (88xxx) above the raised rear sight that looks like an Inglis. Internal extractor and a finger notch on the right side of the slide. It has a matching SN behind the slide stop. It has a "2" on the trigger and under the grip. The grips are plastic, but behind the left grip is the hole for the lanyard loop. There are tiny marks on the heel, B C V and W (bottom left). No other marks or stamps anywhere else. Barrel is not blued, no markings, the rest of the pistol looks to be blued, some holster wear. What kind of "franken-gun" did I get? At first I thought it could be a refinished Inglis, but there are no places where it looked like the markings had been removed.
