Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Saturday Morning Target Shooting

#1 Post by Cattus Borealis » Sat Oct 19, 2019 1:51 pm

Hello everyone!

Today I met some of my rifle team students out at our local 300 yard range.

We shot an Argentine 1891, a Bulgarian Steyr 1895 rifle, a Persian Mauser and a Finn M39.

These young men were easily hitting the 300 yard gong with some spotting and minor sight adjustments. All loads save the 7,62x54R used cast bullets.

It was a great deal of fun!

Awesome job at getting young shooters more involved with this old work horses. Makes me wish I had this opportunity when I was younger.

Thanks Curtis!

Young people need to do stuff like this. Many times they wouldn't have a clue if they would enjoy shooting as a sport. The looks on their faces when they finally get bullets onto steel is priceless.

If we won't grow our sport, it will die.
