Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

You could hit AIM Surplus on the way through if you make a small detour into Monroe.

What will your route be?

If coming up 75 Bud's Gunshop is in Lexington, KY.
1950-ish FN M1930 Carbine in .30-06
Variety of other, nonsurplus, guns.

Olde English Gunshop 10-15 minutes north of I-70 and I-75 isn't bad, but not exactly Cabelas. Used gun prices are much better there. Look up Google maps on how to get there since there is no direct off ramp. I would second the AIM SURPLUS visit. Check out their prices online and see what I mean. I would dare say it is the cheapest place in the USA to get PRVI ammo. You could order ahead and just pick it up at the store front. Again, check google maps, but it is near I-75. There is a Cabelas off I-675 near Wilmington road.

That is it for stuff around Dayton. There is another Cabelas south of AIM SURPLUS as well, down near Cincinnati.

Oh, skip the gun shops and visit the USAF Museum. Its a world class museum and admission is free. You could spend several days there.

Best Regards,

Mark

From what I recall plenty of pawn shops in Fayetteville. Also A military town with Fort Bragg and Pope Army Airfield.

You could stop by here! We are open by appointment but if it is not a Sunday ( church day) or after 3 pm on Sunday we can make it happen. I have a lot of surplus guns, tons of ammo, bayonets and accessories! One on one attention since most likely you will be the only one here.
