Gun show yesterday.

Went to a gun show here in Kansas City yesterday. I haven't been to one for a while because they were mostly jerky making equipment and cheap knives, but this one was pretty good. One guy had a fantastic collection of M1-C sniper rifles and a few 03A4 sniper rifles. That collection really stood out but there were a lot of mil-surp firearms and equipment.

Met a couple of guys from the Rimfirecentral forum that I have been communicating with for some time.

All I bought was a cheap flashlight but even that was more than I intended to buy. Had a great time though, and it was great to finally see a gun show with a LOT of guns.

See any K98Ks or French 1935 autos? Any Norwegian 30-06 K98s?

There were some K98's, but I was mainly looking at Winchester rifles and shotguns, and some Marlin open hammer pump shotguns. I saw a lot of military surplus rifles but the asking prices were through the roof, so I didn't spend much time on them. For example $500 for a Mosin Nagant 91/30 that you could have had for $80 twelve years ago. I did see some Finish Mosins that were not too outrageous, but I've kinda gotten away from the Mosins in recent years.

Something I did not see much of were the Swiss K-31's. One guy had a couple but that was it.

I'm not surprised with the K31s.

The supply of K31s are starting to dry up in Switzerland.
I believe most up for sale will come out of collections.

Prices are starting to climb for these babys

If you were at the Expocenter near the airport, it was the Missouri Valley Collectors annual show. It's different from other shows because it's a club event. I did not go as I was out of town.

That is a neat show. Truth be told, I like all gunshows as it gets me around guns, but the MVC show is probably the best.
