Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

To me and i stress that i'm not an expert it looks like the bottom one is a p14 before the weddon/weedon repair standard. Seeing that it still has its volley sights, unit disc and fat boy stock. Second one from the bottom is after the repair standard of ww2, slim stock, beautiful winchester markings. (rarest ones, about 400000 made, Remington 1million and eddystone 2 million +-) and the second from the top looks like a p14 or p17 with the ears cut off but the right bolt-end and bubba work, cant identifield it really. Top one looks to me like a 1903a1 or so in a p14-17 stock... Again not an expert but made me pretty curious.

Over 100 views, Time for a hint!!
I, was most certain, one of our Senior Members, would pick up on this!!
Top rifle hint
A very old American arms Enterprise, their home base,in a castle, in one of our US states.
Second rifle down hint
This rifle mfg, by, one of large USA, gun companies, for a south american military.
Third and fourth rifles, no hint needed
Both, should be easily identified!! So, how about a little info and history on each rifle!!
Advance thanks
Roy

Ok, I'll try(before I read the earlier replies)
#1 Just guessing- I read recently about some P-17 rifles modified for patrol use in an artic country. Was it Greenland?
2 Maybe a Bannerman rifle, combining a springfield barrel and P-17 action and stock.
3 Standard M-1917 Us
4 P-14

Edit: Went back and looked again. Pretty sure the top one is not what I first thought it was. The Greenland rifles had an open sight mounted, but didn't look like that one.

just modify your guess a little. The hint for the top one was that the home base was in a castle in the United States. That one should be the Bannerman rifle, not number two.

#2. A Remington for Honduras, 7mm?

Would have just said a bunch of 1917s without your hints..

I think the Greenland Enfield was written up in an American Rifleman story. They were supplied to Greenland during WWII, after the war they were used by some sort of scouting or patrols in arctic conditions. Similar to the patrols in northern Canada that still uses(or at least until recently) Lee-Enfields. When they were needing replacement, they just rebuilt the P-17 actions with new barrels, stocks, Military sights and ears removed, and regular open sights.

Found the Greenland article, wasn't in the Rifleman:
https://wwiiafterwwii.wordpress.com/201 ... greenland/

Interesting read, although there's some technical mistakes about the history of the rifles.
