I saw this "funny" meme about dumb shooters and did not recognize the rifle? Looks like some kind of semi FN thingy??

Perhaps can help the identification of the vehicle behind the pirata.

French military Peugeot P4 Light Utility Vehicle.

It's an H&K SL 6 ( In .223 ) or a H&K SL 7 IN .30I Winchester.
I always thought they were , outwardly at least, a sexier version of the WWII G 43.
I used to see them in my gun magazines in the early 80s. They were expensive then, I can only imagine what they'd cost now.

Who the heck designed that UGLY drop at the end of the comb?

Damn Europeans, as if their ‘perch belly’ and ‘rounded comb’ hog-back or hump-back stocked buttstocks aren’t ugly enough, LOL!

You just never know what Charles has stored in his brain! The stuff he can recall is amazing, I am lucky if I can remember peoples names. Charles can have the rifle, and M67 the truck, does that mean the brunette is left over for me....
I'll show her how to shoot!

Thanks to Charles and M67 for helping this ole fart. I tend to recognize military rifles, but since this was a "hunting/utility" rifle it was off my radar?
I noticed they offered a variant SL6A2 with a 2 round burst! ( For the coyote you really want to kill? LOL )

Glad to help guys. It's great being able to share all this "useless" trivia I've amassed.
Like I said, they were advertised in several gun magazines in the early 80s.. But I think they were in the 500 dollar range, maybe more.
You could get cheaper guns so they didn't sell well .
72 USMC, I never learned to drive so I might that brunette to drive me around.
