Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

These are some of my 1911 projects. All are in .45ACP. All were a lot of fun to put together. That shiny "pimp gun" probably took the most man hours. Sanding and polishing the stainless frame and slide.

That is a SARCO kit with GI parts and a Rock Island frame.

How much would it $$$ to put a 1911 together from parts?? Thinking of doing it... Just built my own AR rifle.

I have not done one for years now and I believe a lot of the parts from Sarco have dried up. Frames can still be had for around $200. If you can get the parts kit from Sarco somewhere north of $400 probably.http://www.e-sarcoinc.com/451911autobui ... e.aspxJust checked this. Makes it less than $400 unless you want to go with some other parts like I did. I changed the style of hammer on most of mine. Well that link is a partial dud. Scroll down to kits and their less frame kit is available for about $150. Whoops, Just noticed that is less frame and slide. You can get slides elsewhere for less than their compensated one.
