says it is a 1/2 sol which is worth about .50 made in lima peru. Kinda weird that peru would have a camel on their money, I guess whoever put it in there just thought. Egypt and camel go together...sounds good to me.

So i have an egyptian rifle with a Peruvian coin with an alpaca or llama on it... I may just have to replace that coin with something a bit more appropriate. It looks to be epoxied in the whole that the circular tag once resided. Did all hakims originally have a id tag that was on them in the stock or am I getting this mixed up with a different rifle?

Mine doesn't..... but my Egyptian FN 49 does.

If it was my gun, I'd try to find some middle eastern coin the same size and stick it in there in that ones place.

Not a coin collector, but the various coins the Muslim countries use usually have some pretty cool looking designs on them.
