I just want to give a head's up for those folks who might own the Para version of the FAL that original-spec recoil spring sets are now available. Surplus recoil springs have just about disappeared and under-powered springs from DSA and Falcon have been less than desirable. After a long development process, newly manufactured Para recoil springs are available here:

I have no affiliation with these folks, other than as a paying customer. And, if one needs the little connector tube for the inner springs, Numrich sells one for the FN49 than fits perfectly.
