model 17 Unique (photos now)

Post by dynachrome »

I took a gamble and bought a model 17 "unique" with a serial # 40,xxx. Has a WAa 251? on the slide or frame (can't remember) and the eagle and swastika on the barrel. Due to panic buying, the background check will take about 2 1/2 days, so I can't pick it up until Tuesday. No holster with it or anything else. Looks in very good shape, with some holster wear. no import mark that I saw. $525 plus tax/background fee.

Ouch. I picked mine up for 125 bucks several years ago and found a second one for 200 and didn't buy it. Nice little ruby copies, even some of the mags interchange.

A couple of pics. The bore looks very good. Not many for sale lately and prices are pretty variable. Anywhere from $350 to
$1200 ???? Pricier ones came with holsters and extra mags. Only one mag with this one.

Nice one. Clean lines and curves. And really simple.
